First of all, thanks for the amazing add-in !

I do have one question:
We have two WHS boxes here.
Would it be possible for you to add an option to perform remote shutdowns for other PC's connected to the UPS ?

I can think of other scenarios that may benefit from such a feature.
For example, some users might have a home PC plugged into the UPS in addition to the whs. Such households could also benefit from a remote shutdown command.

You are the expert and I am not sure how you could implement this, but if it is difficult - you could possibly just allow for a command to be executed at specific alerts.
Users could then get creative and put scripts in there, to perform a bunch of remote shutdowns across the network (or remote hibernate commands).

Sorry I am rambling..
Either way this is an awesome add-in, I didn't even bother unwrapping the PowerChute CDROM that came with my APC UPS !
Thanks again :)

Michael - when you say "enable brownout filtering" does this mean that you can actually supress the alarm? I just got an APC 750 UPS but I'm afraid to plug it in becuase we've been having power outages and if I wake the baby up with an alarm my wife will beat me.

Great solution.
Is it possible to add an alarm suppress during specific hours??
I've had 3 brownout alarms in 24 hours and they all happened during the wee hours of the morning.
If the alarm could be muted/turned off (settings) between say 12am to 7am this would be terrific.
Curious to know if you are picking up the battery status on APC units. I have a lamp that is saying the batteries need replacing, but your code says that everything is okay.

Question: Is it possible to utilize an RS232->USB adapter cable to get around the "no serial" limitation? I have a Back UPS Pro 650 that has served me well (just upgraded the battery in it!), and it only has an RS232 connection on it.
